Sarkodie was one of the recipients of Dr UN’s awards which were linked to the United Nations.
After it was realized that the awards had nothing to do with the United Nations, Sarkodie and other recipients issued disclaimers rejecting the awards.
However, Dr. UN insists his awards are not fake as it has been painted by the media. He indicates that he believes recipients have excelled at what they do and therefore need to be acknowledged for their work.
